Blackbird Handle

It's a beautifil razor handle. The polish is high in brightness and suitable.

Always excellent quality products. That's why they've become my only shaving supplier.

The short handle is fine, but I decided I could get better control of the razor angle with the long handle. The extra length allows me to engage the pinky finger of my right hand, giving me just a bit more control. I find the additional mass is helpful in letting the razor do the work, so I don't have to apply pressure as I shave.

I decided to order some Blackbird parts to put together multiple Blackbirds. This SS long handle was paired with a matte SS top cap and Ti baseplates.

A very well crafted addition to my Blackbird, along with the open comb plate, I can now use it to shave my head with ease & I only need one against the grain pass, plus a little touch up here & there. It gives me the necessary reach I need to shave the back of my head, very well balanced in my hand. Many thanks folks.

I bought 2 long blackbird handles as I have big hands and always felt a longer/heavier handle would work better for me. I’m very happy with them and I got free international shipping which was a bonus. Thanks and I totally recommend the longer handles.

I purchased the long handle as a separate item when I purchased the Blackbird. I wasn't sure which of the handle lengths I would like the best, so I figured if I order the Blackbird with one handle, and then purchase the other handle separately. I have small hands, but despite this, I find the long handle gives me more manoeuvrability over the standard handle length, and I am so pleased I got it. I still like the standard handle length and still use it, and I usually alternate between them from one shave to the next. The fit, finish and the craftsmanship on this handle are absolutely flawless, and to be fair, so has anything I have purchased from Blackland. Not much more to say apart from, that if you cannot decide on what handle length to choose when getting the Blackbird, then I recommend to buy the other handle separately. At least that way you can try them both out and see which you prefer. It's not as if you cannot use the other handle, you can just alternate between them on your next shave.

I had the SS blackbird with the shorter handle and it was great, however the handle was a bit short for my large hands. I was quite surprised at how much better the longer handle made the shaving experience. Really nice. I have a lot of nice razors and none shave more efficiently than the Blackbird. In fact, it is likely the most efficient. Even with the substantial blade feel it is the least irritating of all my more aggressive razors. I "hemmed and hawed" about spending the additional money for the longer handle, but it was definitely money well spent. Now, if you only hade the Tradere in stock.

I bought this replacement handle to fix a problem with the blade alignment of my Blackbird. When this failed to rectify the issue the customer support team helped me find a solution and replaced the parts I needed. 10/10 customer service!

I bought both handles with the Blackbird I still cannot decide which one I like better it's like having to choose between your favorite ice cream and your favorite pizza. Each handle gives the razor a very different look. Both of them are extremely attractive and they function slightly differently. Maybe you'll get both and enjoy both as well.

Ok - straight to the point. I’m embarrassed to say my razor collection is out of hand. I have 6 that I rotate through - all excellent. Until I got the polished SS Blackbird. The others have collected dust for MONTHS. No lie. Well - I just made it more perfect with the polished shorter handle! I might as well get rid of the collection….sigh

Supernice quality and performance. it is a perfect add to the usual Blacbird. Gain weight and get a gorgeous handle that lets teh Blackbird stand tall in the den of razors.

Great handle. The Blackbird head on the short handle always felt out of place. The longer length makes it easier for me to find the right angle faster and leads to a more comfortable shaw. Should have acquired this handle a long time ago! Thanks Shane!

Very nice handle, exactly what I expected and it makes my razor différent in terme of use comparer to long handle but still very pleasant. I am totally satisfied!

Love this razor. The machining and fit and finish are awesome. I'm really impressed with how smooth it is with such high efficiency. I get zero irritation coupled with a glass-like finish with the Blackbird.

I’m very happy with the longer handle…but I think I like the shorter handle better. I plant to keep trying the longer, just to see if it’s simply different.

I picked up a Blackbird head only and needed the handle to make it complete.I got exactly what I was looking for and got it quickly.I am very happy to have a Blackbird in my collection.

The Blackbird head just doesn’t suit me (sorry, Shane!), but I love everything about the 101mm machined handle. So I paired the handle with my two favorite heads (Charcoal Goods and vintage Swing — both worked perfectly and both are now awesome razor. Many thanks for making the parts available separately.
