The stand is well made and beautiful. Only suggestion is that it should be a little taller because the Blackbird wobbles a bit and might fall out if bumped accidently.

The polished brass Blackbird is the third Blackbird razor among Ti and SS. Due to the highest weight this is the smoothest razor for me. Retention of the heat is also standing out among others - it is very pleasant feeling. The quality of the manufacturing is outstanding as usual!

I ordered a DE and received a lite. I did not notice at first and started using it. It was excellent. I did receive my DE and it shaves just as well. Very happy with the razor and customer service for shipping me the proper razor right away once I realized the wrong razor was shipped. I much prefer the shave vs my old 5 blade razor.

Buy the stand when you buy the razor. Thought I didn't need it, but loved the Blackbird so much I bought the stand the following week. A whole lot of respect for the products you make and the excellent service.

A quite simple stand. I like the shape of it as the shape language matches the blackbird razor. However, I wish the clearance between the stand hole and the razor handle was tighter, dissatisfyingly loose motion can now be observed. Also some plastic inlay could be a good idea to prevent scraching of the handle end in long term use.

I recently ordered the satin brass blackbird stand as I already had a machined brass blackbird from the first release. But to be honest I didn't like the satin. It stains very easily and the finish is horrible. I have it in the bathroom in a place where the water does not reach it but it still generates dark spots. By comparison, I prefer untreated machined brass to this satin finish. I had to polish it until I managed to remove the satin and get to machining. So far it is the only blackland product whose finish I have not liked and I have 2 blackbirds, an era and a dart. I wish I could just go back to machining for brass too, but I understand that satin is the trend and softens the texture of the metal.

A beautiful razor and exceptionally crafted. This “Brass-Bird” provides a smooth yet incredibly efficient shave whether used on a daily basis or a stubborn 3 day beard growth. As always a big thank you to Shane and his team for this superb razor and exceptional customer service.

The machined stand I purchased for my Blackland Blackbird Lite fits perfectly and is perfectly made.

I appreciate the design ethos of this stand to compliment the fluid lines from the razor, my only criticism is that it is not substanial enough to hold the razor without that wobble or fear of it being knocked out of the stand. It needed more height in order to create a deeper pocket for the razor handle to sit in. Apart from that beautiful but with form you need function.

To me this is a good solid quality, fantastic machining, No scratches, I would've love to see their logo though and perhaps make it a bit taller. Overall it's a solid stand.

It's alright, simple design, heavy, does the job..

I purchased this when I got the Blackbird. I'm a sucker for a nice razor stand, and this razor stand certainly is a very nice razor stand. It's very weighty and there is no chance that your Blackbird will fall out of it. The fit, finish and craftsmanship on the stand is absolutely flawless (and so is anything I have purchased from Blackland). You can certainly tell the machinist that makes the stands, takes great pride in their work. Not much more to say apart from that if you want a really nice stand for your Blackbird, then this stand should be at the top of your list.

The machined stand is a quality item, heavy, beautiful, and does its job well. Order fulfillment was really quick. The real excitement though is the machined blackbird it holds. I'm a daily shaver and I have my share of high-end razors, but after 26 shaves with the bird (standard plate), I can honestly say that nothing I have matches the combination of comfort, efficiency, and complete lack of irritation of the Blackbird. It took a few shaves to adjust to the ideal angle, but was well worth it. Superb razor.
