Great result and smooth shave. I had the satin finish for 3 years and this polish version is off the charts better. It is smooth and doesn’t tug like the satin. It feels end product rather than in progress like the satin one. Definitely go for it.

I just received the Windsor Titanium H and R plate razor. The word that comes to mind is "fantastic" on all fronts. Quality is superb and the classic finish is very nice. I have shaved twice with the H plate and once so far with the R plate. Both plates provide excellent results. Each has a small amount of blade feel (the H having just a bit more than the R) and offer a super smooth shave. The H will definitely be my go to plate. It provides more efficiency than the R while remaining smooth and comfortable. I've had many ATT razors in the past, but these new razors are next level in terms of quality and shaving characteristics. I also have the stainless S1 and it is a marvelous razor. Keep up the good work.

I sent back my Blackbird Ti satin finish razor for polishing because of the drag I experienced. I hesitated doing this because my polished SS Blackbird handle always felt slippery when wet. Shane suggested a Two-Tone polish on the handle only. What a difference this has made. The drag is much less to almost gone, and the handle grip is perfect!
I didn’t know a Two-Tone handle polish was available until Shane suggested it. It would be great if you offered this finish on your website. I’m sure others have experienced the polished handle slippage like I have.

Blackland did an amazing job, it's blown me away, I just can't stop admiring it on the stand and the shave it gives is perfection.

This is the culmination of sending four Blackbirds to Blackland for polishing and refresh service. If you didn't originally order a polished version and think you want to try polished, here is a way to do it. Brass, stainless, and titanium were polished and look and feel like totally different razors now. One satin titanium got the refresh service; not exactly sure what they did, but it looks better than when it left me. I've got other satin and machine finished Blackbird parts, like long handles and OC plates that will likely be sent for polish service in the future.

If you went with satin finish on your Blackbirds or other Blackland razors, and you wonder or wish you would have got polished, I can say the razor refinishing polish service transforms the look and feel to something entirely different. People say there is no difference in shave between satin and polished. I think polished slides better on my skin.

I already own a Blackbird satin brass model with three plates, both handles, and the stand. This brass Blackbird Lite was purchased used, specifically to send to Blackland for their razor refinishing polish service. It exceeded my expectations! My photography skills don't do it justice. It is brilliant and may even shave smoother than my satin brass model.
